For hand stacking applications we recommend our boltless shelving or bulk shelving (FastRak). For higher end hand stacking applications or where you need mobile shelving, we recommend our NSF Certified Black or Chrome Wire Shelving. For applications where you are storing very large or heavy items and using a motorized lift, we recommend our pallet rack.

I purchased this cargo rack on Amazon at a sweet deal of $150. Product was new in packaging and everything looked very nicely packaged. Assembly was fairly straightforward, however the factory packaging was missing several pieces of hardware (screws). I reached out to the Curt service group, but they said "Unfortunately there are no separate bolt kits available for these units, they are a fully kitted unit.". It is frustrating that Curt service is unable to send missing hardware that prevents you from completing the installation of their goods. I had to purchase hardware at my own expense.
quality of rack tubing is good as long as u stay within the load limit. I lost a couple of bolts and replacement is just a phone call. I have a black Xterra Off Road and the cargo basket looks like it belongs on it. good way to distribute some of the weight. We'll see how long the basket holds up during if I leave it on,
I bought this product because it was a good price and I liked its size. The basket was easy to put together and easy enough to install. However, it faded quickly and right at a year it started weeping a black liquid on the top of my truck. I called the 1-800 number and their first question is do you remove the basket when you're not using it? It's not designed to be permanently installed. Its says not for permanent installation in the instructions, not in the product description where it should be. I'm sorry, I thought I bought a roof rack not a truck accessory that takes approximately 30 minutes to remove and install. I will admit, they made it right and sent me a replacement free of charge. However, I will be selling it shortly and I will make sure that whoever buys it knows up front that it is not for permanent installation so they don't have to look for that tidbit in the bottom of the instructions.
Awesome basket!Unfortunately I had a hard time with the locking nuts and had two of them breaking on me. For some reason they were to tight to hand screw after the first 1/4 of the way down... eventually they gave up and cracked.Luckily I was left with the nut which eventually made its way down with an adjustable wrench after awhile. But then I also notice the "U" metal shaped screw bracket thingy that holds the other pieces to the basket were sticking up a bit - ready to poke something thru.Not a deal breaker at all though. The roof rack system is rock solid! Just the details :)
Called in today to see about a replacement bracket for my cargo rack (that I stripped out). I talked to Mark in technical support. It was one of the friendliest conversations I've ever had with customer support. He was glad to help me out with a replacement part.
