How to Flash Motorola Moto M XT1663 with Stock Firmware

If you have a Motorola Moto M XT1663 smartphone that is stuck in a boot loop, bricked, or has software issues, you may need to flash it with the stock firmware. Flashing is the process of installing a new operating system on your device, which can fix various problems and restore your phone to its original state. What You Need

A Motorola Moto M XT1663 smartphone with at least 50% battery charge.

A computer running Windows 10, 8.1, 8, or 7.

A USB cable to connect your phone to your computer.

The stock firmware file for Motorola Moto M XT1663. You can download it from here.

The SP Flash Tool software. You can download it from here. The password for the package is rootandroidz.

The MediaTek USB VCOM drivers. You can download them from here.

How to Flash Motorola Moto M XT1663 with Stock Firmware

Extract the SP Flash Tool and the stock firmware files to a folder on your computer.

Install the MediaTek USB VCOM drivers on your computer. You can follow the instructions here.

Run the flash_tool.exe file from the SP Flash Tool folder.

Click on the Scatter-loading button and browse to the SW folder inside the stock firmware folder. Select the MT6755_Android_scatter.txt file and click Open.

Make sure all the boxes are checked and the Download Only option is selected in the drop-down menu.

Turn off your phone and remove the battery if possible.

Click on the Download button in SP Flash Tool and connect your phone to your computer via USB cable.

Wait for the flashing process to complete. You will see a green circle with a check mark when it is done.

Disconnect your phone from your computer and insert the battery if you removed it. Turn on your phone and wait for it to boot up.
